Erskine Wellness Hope for Haiti Case of Food Project

First the earthquake, then hurricane Tomas, and now cholera have had their devastating effect on Haiti. The net result of all of these experiences is a food supply in short supply.

Most Haitians eat one meal a day. A proper diet means one is in a better position to fend off diseases and have enough energy to work to earn a living for your family. For children it means being able to have enough food to concentrate if they are privileged enough to attend school. We have an opportunity to help those who have very little in the way of food to sustain them day by day.

We are partnering again with Reciprocal Ministries International so you can supply food to needy children and families. For $25 you can purchase a case of food which contains 216 meals that will provide one hot meal a day to a family of six for a whole month. Yes, you read that correctly. That comes to less than 12 cents a meal.

Erskine Wellness Hope for Haiti Case of Food project wants to collect as many $25 donations as possible so that we can provide food to needy families at a critical moment in the lives of the children of Haiti. We would like individuals, organizations, departments, and whole offices to consider raising at least $25 to cover the cost of one case of food that will feed a family of six for an entire month.

If you are interested in providing a case of food to a needy Haitian family, please direct your donations to Steve or Mary Lowe. If you wish to write a check, make the check payable to “Reciprocal Ministries International” and on the memo line write “EW Hope for Haiti Case of Food Project.” Thank you for your prayerful consideration of your participation in this project.
