Erskine on the Move is part of Erskine Wellness that strives for whole person development by targeting and maximizing the six dimensions of wellness (physical, intellectual, emotional, social, moral, and spiritual).
One goal of Erskine on the Move is to encourage individuals to make exercise a part of the normal daily routine and achieve a healthier, happier, and more balanced life. Another goal of Erskine on the Move is to provide education about how to make walking work for you and enable you to live a healthier life and demonstrate the positive impact that physical activity can have on your health and healthcare costs. |

Regular walking is a healthy and simple way to feel better now and reduce the risk of developing serious health problems down the road. Not only is it great for your health and morale but it also boosts healthy immune systems, its simple, and free. We use walking teams to provide an element of good-natured competition. The walking team is meant to encourage team building and support. We want the faculty, staff, and students of Erskine to help each other and give encouragement to the walking program.
Take advantage of the following on-site walking routes before work/school, during lunch or breaks, or after work or school:
